Last week I was a day late, this week I am a day early, the opportunity is too good to miss: we have Earth Hour coming up later today!
I believe most people with an interest in nature based spirituality will also care deeply about our planet, the only home we have.
Traditionally the hour is marked by switching off the lights in your home for an hour. It’s a small gesture, but it’s something that connects people around the globe and is meant to be a reminder that big change can be created when many people make a small one.
If switching off the lights isn’t feasible, you could alternatively go litter picking, maybe in a local wood or even just around your street or in front of your door? Maybe this one hour inspires you to do more, then Earth Day on 22nd of April can be the next step.
